Uploading Your Passport

Your passport image should be focused, straight, and use good lighting.

You only need to include the info page of your passport.

The bottom of the info page has important text that needs to be clearly visible and positioned correctly.

You will be able to crop and adjust the size of your image after you select it.

Example: A Good Image With Proper Placement

The image is clear and the important text is positioned within the red rectangle at the bottom.

Examples: Bad Passport Images

This image is bad because it includes more than info page.
This image is bad because it is blurry.
This image is bad because it is taken at a bad angle. The image should be straight.
This image is bad because it is tilted.

Cropping Images To The Correct Size

After selecting an image, you should adjust the size and positioning of your passport info page so it fits the frame and the machine readable text is within the red rectangle.
